“Rehoming Notice: Teens in Need of a New Pack”

It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this… but I need to rehome my children, ages 16 and 19.

Honestly, I didn’t do enough research before committing to having kids, and they just don’t fit into mine and my dog’s schedules anymore. With another baby on the way, things have become even more complicated. The dogs and I are very busy, and I simply don’t have time for these teenagers.

They’ve started developing behavioral issues that weren’t there as newborns, and despite our best efforts to address them, nothing has improved. Frankly, we just can’t afford the cost or emotional toll of “training” them anymore. They’ve become a huge liability in our home.

They’re ruining my marriage with the stress they cause—waking me up at odd hours, damaging the house, and destroying furniture, walls, and even my sanity. While they’re technically potty-trained and very treat-motivated, they don’t seem to listen to basic commands anymore.

We’re moving soon and found a home that has plenty of space for the dogs, but unfortunately, it just didn’t have enough bedrooms for these kids.

I know this will likely cause them emotional damage, and they may never fully recover from the abandonment, but this is the situation we’re dealing with. Please, no judgment—just understanding.

If you’re interested in taking them, send me a message. There will be a small rehoming fee to ensure they go to a good home.

Yours sincerely,

Every Dog Rescue Ever
